Please visit us and check out our viewbook (click the cover at right) to see the advantages of a Rosary education.

Steps to becoming a Rosary student:
  1. Schedule a Shadow Day to spend a school day at Rosary.
  2. Attend one of our Come Visit Us or request a private tour.
  3. Sign up to take the Entrance Exam.
  4. Apply for financial assistance (optional) by December 31.
  5. Submit your Release of Information Form to Rosary by December 31.

  • Shadow Days for Eighth Graders or Transfer Students

    Every eighth grader or prospective transfer student is strongly encouraged to experience what a day of school is like at Rosary. Each visitor will be hosted by a Student Ambassador with similar academic and extracurricular interests. Shadows are asked to dress casually and arrive at 7:45 a.m. and be picked up at 3:00 p.m. Lunch is provided. Sign up for a shadow day using the button above.
  • HSPT Practice Entrance Exams

    September 29  and November 2 
    Rosary High School will be hosting practice high school entrance exams for all current 8th graders. This practice entrance exam will allow 8th grade girls and boys to become familiar with the exam in a realistic testing situation. Rosary and many Catholic high schools use the results of this exam and other factors to determine acceptance, class placement, and scholarship decisions. The practice exam is $25 per student and is open to BOTH boys and girls. Register here 
  • Come Visit Us

    Sunday, November 10, 2024
    Come Visit Us events introduce prospective students (Grades 5-8) and their families to the administration team of Rosary High School. Tour the school, speak with students, and administrators and learn about all that Rosary has to offer. Register now
  • Entrance Exams

    Saturday, December 7*, December 14* or January 11 at 8:30 am
    Eighth graders seeking admission into Rosary High School must take the Scholastic Testing Service High School Placement Exam. This standard indicator and the information gathered from parents, teachers and grade school transcripts are used to determine acceptance to Rosary. Apply to Rosary High School and register for the test online. The testing fee is $40.  Bring two #2 pencils. No calculators.

    Please complete and return the release of information form to allow Rosary High School to receive your student’s 7th and 8th grade report cards, most current standardized test scores (eg. ISAT, TerraNova, Iowa Test), and IEP/ISP/504 plan (if applicable). Email, fax or mail the signed release form to: email admissions@rosaryhs.com, fax (630) 896-8372, mail Rosary High School Recruitment and Enrollment, 901 N. Edgelawn Drive, Aurora, IL 60506.

    *To be considered for scholarships, students must take the Entrance Exam offered in December.
  • Financial Aid

    Funds from the Dominican Sisters subsidy and the Annual Appeal assist families who could not otherwise enroll at Rosary High School. All families who may be in need of assistance are encouraged to apply for financial aid through the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment website. You will need to create a User ID and password to fill out the form. All forms must be submitted by December 31.
