Rosary College Prep: Forming Women of Truth, Faith, and Strength
Rosary College Prep is a Catholic, college-preparatory high school for young women, sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Illinois.

Guided by our motto, Veritas (Truth), Rosary fosters a strong sisterhood where students are encouraged to grow intellectually, deepen their faith, and develop the confidence and character to lead with integrity. We are committed to forming young women who are prepared to make a meaningful impact in their communities and the world.

    Rosary welcomes young women with diverse strengths in academics, leadership, athletics, and the arts. Students are placed in courses that align with their abilities and interests. Through collaboration between students, parents, faculty, and counselors, each student is supported in reaching her academic and career goals.
  • Faith Faith
    A Rosary Education is based on the Dominican Pillars of Prayer, Study, Community and Preaching. Dominicans are the Order of Preachers. Rosary students learn to "preach with their lives," incorporating faith and service into their daily lives at Rosary and beyond.
  • Fine Arts Fine Arts
    Rosary offers a range of performing and visual arts classes, including choirs, orchestras, drawing, painting, ceramics, photography, and graphic design. Band is with Marmion Academy. Extracurricular options are a drama club, glee club, a Fall musical (Rosary), and a Spring musical (Marmion).
  • Athletics Athletics
    The future of women's sports lies in the hands of the well-rounded athlete. Rosary emphasizes developing skills and striving to reach one's potential. Rosary offers Basketball, Bowling, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Golf, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Swimming & Diving, Tennis, Track & Field, and Volleyball.

    Grandparents Day and May Crowning



    Rosary College Prep invites students and their grandparents to a special Grandparents Day celebration.  All grandparents should arrive at Rosary at 2:00 pm.  The program will begin at 2:15 pm with our traditional May Crowning Ceremony, honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary with prayers, flower offerings, and the crowning of Mary as a symbol of devotion and love.  
     
    Following the ceremony, granddaughters will guide their grandparents on tours of Rosary College Prep, offering a glimpse into student life and traditions.  Guests will also enjoy cookies and lemonade as they experience the warmth of the Rosary community.  
     
    We look forward to celebrating this meaningful day with our Rosary families!
