This discovery is at the heart of the unique “True Blue” educational experience we offer as the area’s only all-girls, Catholic, college-preparatory school.

    True Rigor
    To prepare our students for college, career and life, we offer a challenging core curriculum along with honors courses, Advanced Placement courses, and dual credit courses. Students can also choose from a variety of special electives in subjects like engineering and law.
    Just as high as our academic expectations for students is our level of support for student success. In collaboration with parents, faculty, and counselors, each Rosary College Prep student plans for - and prepares to meet - her personal academic and career goals. Small classes allow for individualized attention from faculty, with additional services and resources provided by our Academic Achievement Area.

    True Meaning
    Sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Illinois, Rosary offers an experience based on the Dominican Pillars of Prayer, Study, Community and Preaching. Through daily prayer, a service hour program, the peer Dominican Preacher program, annual class retreats, and other opportunities, Rosary students learn to "preach with their lives” and understand what truly matters.
  • Fine Arts Fine Arts
    True Creativity
    For students looking to express themselves through the creative arts, Rosary offers a wide range of classes, extracurricular activities, competitions, exhibitions, and performance trips. Study drawing, painting, ceramics, photography and/or graphic design. Sing with the choir or glee club. Play in the orchestra or band. Perform in the fall or spring musical. Whatever your artistic passion, explore it here! 
  • Athletics Athletics
    True Competition
    You’ve seen the shirts declaring that “Everyone Watches Women’s Sports.TM” Here at Rosary, everyone supports women’s sports, with 100 percent of our athletics funding, facilities and focus dedicated to our female athletes. The Royals compete in 13 sports: basketball, bowling, cheerleading, cross country, flag football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming & diving (with the award-winning team known as the Beads), tennis, track & field, and volleyball.
